ExploreA weekend in Chamrousse to give people with motor or sensory disabilities the chance to try out winter sports. The challenge involves teams taking part in various events in the heart of the resort.
The Comité Départemental Handisport de l'Isère is delighted to be organizing its 7th annual "Handi'Gliss weekend" on Saturday February 1 and Sunday February 2, 2025 at Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin.
Para-hockey is on the program, as well as downhill and cross-country skiing.
On the program: warm welcome from 9am, sliding activities from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 4:30pm + Saturday ice activity from 10am to 4pm + Sunday giant slalom challenge from 2pm to 5pm.
For resort guests, equipment will be reserved to discover sit-skiing.
You can register with the person of your choice (able-bodied or disabled) to share the experience together.
Equipment: CDHI provides adapted ski equipment (Nordic sled, dualski, kart'ski, tandemski, para-hockey sled).
Program for the general public:
- 9-10am: welcome and team-building - Chamrousse 1650 multi-purpose hall - Recoin
- 10am-12.30pm: downhill skiing on the Roche Béranger (Chamrousse 1750) or Recoin (1650) slopes, plus Nordic skiing on the Arselle (1600) ski area.
- 12pm-1:30pm: picnic provided by us
- 2pm-4.30pm: downhill skiing on the Roche Béranger (Chamrousse 1750) or Recoin (1650) slopes, with parallel Nordic skiing on the Arselle plateau (1600)
- 5pm-6pm: group sunset descent from Croix de Chamrousse (via the Croix gondola)
- 19h-21h30 : convivial meal
