This route will allow us to go completely around the Aralar mountain range in Gipuzkoa. We start this route in Larraitz in the direction of Amezketa. After leaving the San Martín neighbourhood behind us, we begin the ascent to the PR to pass through the Larrondo site and take the path that leads to the summits. Once there, we will advance from crest to crest to reach the highest peak of Aralar, called Irumugarrieta. The stretch of path to this point is not signposted and requires the use of GPS. After leaving the highest peak behind us, we will begin the descent towards Igaratza and, after crossing this place, we will take the path to Lizarrusti following the GR. We will descend through the beech woods of Aralar to the Lizarrusti hostel. From the hostel, we will follow the GR 35 and take the path northwards. We will leave the lake of Lareo behind us to go back into the Enirio meadows, through the shepherds' huts and end up at the Pikueta spire. From there we will take the path that leads to Larraitz and after passing Ausa Gaztelu, we will go down to Larraitz.

Also, do not disturb the herds, greet the people you meet with a friendly "hello", and of course bring back all your rubbish! Do not cut routes through the meadows, do not picnic either!
