ExploreMile Vertical. On this vertical trail we will climb to the top of Larrunarri (Txindoki). In just four kilometres we will climb almost a thousand metres. We will climb up the usual path (PR-Gi 2005) to the Oria spring and, after passing it by several metres, we will turn left to zigzag up the steep slope of the southern side of Larrunarri (Txindoki). At the top, we will take the usual path to end the route. The descent is via the usual path (PR-Gi 2005). To climb the steep slope, we must follow the recommendations given and not follow this route in case of adverse weather conditions. Also remember that the stones on the slope can move and fall at high speed. WARNING!
The definition of the Vertical Kilometre: 1,000 metres of gradient over the shortest possible distance
Through our practice, it is essential to respect the work of the farmers, other farmers and owners who welcome us on their land:
So that the herds do not escape, close all the electric fences well and do not damage them!
Also, do not disturb the herds, greet the people you meet with a friendly "hello", and of course bring back all your rubbish! Do not cut routes through the meadows, do not picnic either!
