ExploreAfter the climb to La Pérelle, you start with a short descent on a path interspersed with pretty streams. Then comes a beautiful climb through the fir forest to reach the descent that will lead you to the Lac de la Léchère.
At the lake, you can have a drink or a meal at the Refuge de la Grande Léchère while admiring the landscape. The view is magnificent and you will be able to observe the Aiguilles d'Arves, the symbolic mountains of the Maurienne valley.
The return journey is via the tarmac road to Saint François Longchamp 1650m where you will pass through the typical Savoyard hamlets of Montgellafrey and Le Replat.
