Walk up through the ski slopes to behind Le Haut and then down through the forest to the ski jump: imagine yourself flying on it... Cross the Nordic ski area before heading up to the Haut de la côte pass. Then head into the Urson forest, a favourite refuge for roe deer. Once you have passed the Basse du Role, cross the Phény gap (hamlet) as far as the Mérelle tower (tower with a view of the lake) before going back down to the south shore of the lake. We leave the route N°05 to go along the lake by the Roches Noires and reach the end of the lake. This is followed by a climb to the Roche Morand and its viewpoint before letting your legs go in the Xettes nursery. The descent takes place via La Trinité and its chapel to reach Kichompré and its typical church. The climb is short but steep via the Basse (upper valley floor) de l'Ours which leads to the Vologne farms. Once you have passed the Col de Martimpré, you will reach one of the least known viewpoints of the Vallée des Lacs at the Roche des Bruyères. The downhill monotrace will take you without difficulty to the Saut des Cuves. The ascent to the Poli slopes is more difficult, but after admiring the view of the village of Xonrupt, you will only have to go back down to the finish line via the Cuckoo's Hut and the Mauselaine ski slopes.
In our practice, it is essential to respect the work of farmers, other operators and owners who welcome us on their land:
In order to prevent the herds from escaping, close all the electric fences and do not damage them!
Also, do not disturb the herds, greet people with a friendly "hello", and of course take back all your rubbish! Don't cut routes through the meadows, don't pick at them either!
