This route takes you from St Pierre Sur Erve to Thorigné. From the outset, enjoy the central street of St Pierre, as far as the medieval pedestrian bridge. You'll pass a number of contemporary works of art. You can stop off at a very well-preserved lime kiln with the caretaker's house, a true vestige of a history that has forged the landscapes of Mayenne. You will then go on to the prehistoric canyon at Saulges, with its beautiful viewpoint. Descend a short distance along a steep path. You can reduce your pace! If you're more sporty, this is the place to do some uphill and downhill sections to work on your cardio and steep descent technique. You'll need to keep your feet firmly on the ground before reaching the banks of the peaceful Erve to return to Saint Pierre sur Erve for a small beer from local brewer Léveilleuse !
