Urepel

About

The municipality of Urepel is a border municipality that borders the Pays Quint or Kintoa, a territory belonging to Nafarroa Garaia and yet is used for these pastures by the herders and shepherds of the municipality and the Baïgorry valley in general. A geopolitical peculiarity, a relic of the historical Navarrese reality and today framed by the Franco-Spanish Treaty of Bayonne of 1856.

There are a few artisans, cheese dairies and fish farms. A bilingual public school operates in the heart of the village.

The town hall of Urepel welcomes you to learn more about the Trail Station at the following times:

From Tuesday to Saturday, from 1:30 pm to 7 pm.
