A la lisière de la forêt domaniale de Tournehem, le Héricat était un domaine seigneurial avant de devenir un hameau de bûcherons. Au-delà du Héricat, le circuit offre de magnifiques panoramas sur la Vallée de la Hem et sur Bonningues-les-Ardres. Le retour sur Quercamps traverse la Wattine, hameau fort éloigné du bourg d'Acquin.
