About

A first wooden covered market was built around 1228. In 1829, it was so dilapidated that the Municipal Council’s members decided to demolish it. On the 31st March, 1836, the first stone was laid and the paving was carried out around 1850. The covered market is 38 meters long and 14 meters large. It still shelters the market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
