ExploreAfter a warm-up loop on the old tram line, you will return to the village to walk around the castle of Herbeumont and then down to the Semois.
Discover the charms of the Semois and the particularity of its meanders which naturally form a peninsula called "the Tomb of the Knight".
This trail loop will take you around the Tombeau du Chevalier via the "Boult" path, which runs continuously along the meander of the Semois.
Always under the forest cover of hundred-year-old beeches and oaks, this superb route will take you along the typical paths of the Ardennes forest
Along the banks of the Semois, shale banks will allow you to improve your proprioception and your support, so important in Trail. The return to the reception station is via the Moulin Willaime.
If you notice fallen trees on the course, missing signposts or any other question, do not hesitate to let us know at: contact@herbeumont-tourisme.be
ATTENTION: Possible overflow of the Semois on a small part of the course (Boult road) in autumn and winter.
It is essential that we respect the work of the farmers, other operators and owners who welcome us to their land:
In order to prevent the herds from escaping, close all electric fences and do not damage them!
Also, do not disturb the herds, greet people with a friendly "hello", and of course take back all your rubbish! Don't cut routes through the meadows, don't pick at them either!
Download the On Piste app and let it guide you along the route.
